DRESSAGE VACATIONS:
At the foot of the glorious Mt. Adams, and peacefully surrounded by fir, cedar, and pine trees, immerse yourself in the pursuit of classical dressage. Ritter Dressage, at White Horse Vale, in Goldendale, Washington, offers classical riding vacations catered to each student's specific needs, goals, and experience level.
Nowhere else in the United States can you learn to ride correctly and classically on well-schooled, beautiful lesson horses (many of which are Lipizzan exhibition and performance horses). We cater our program to students who are passionate about the preservation of the art of classical riding. Dedicated to assisting their students through every facet of the learning process, we can fully customize a program to most complement the needs and goals of the student.

The spacious and peaceful White Horse Vale breeding farm leads to the classical dressage riding school, with its barn of horses peeking their heads out to greet the newcomers, and nearly full-sized indoor arena With sand/rubber footing. Accompanied by a red sand outdoor arena and many limitless miles of trailriding possibilities, Ritter Dressage offers an experience unequaled in any other location. We welcome visitors and students to experience the tradition and heritage of classical horsemanship.
Educational events are held throughout the year for out-of-town and local participants. In the planning stages now is a grand Open House and Lipizzan Evaluations/Breeder's Seminar event to be held in July 7-8, S2007. Email us for more detailed information.
RIDING VACATION PACKAGES:
Packages can be completely tailored to fit each rider's desires and needs. Some of our visitors wish to take one lesson a day and spend the remainder of their day either watching the other lessons and training or touring the area. Other visitors wish to maximize their time with us and take as many lessons a day as our schedules can accommodate. Group and private lessons are available, as are schoolhorses. Stabling is available for visitors who wish to bring their horse(s).
Lesson prices for Vacationers, therefore, are the normal lesson prices:
Lessons with Dr. Thomas Ritter:
One-hour: $70.00 --- Half-hour: $40.00
(Lessons available in English or German)
Lessons with Shana Ritter:
One-hour: $70.00 --- Half-hour: $40.00
One-Hour Group or Semi-Private Lessons: $40.00 each rider.
Schoolhorse fee: $15.00/lesson. No Trailer-in Fee
Overnight Stabling: $15.00/night - limited availability
10% Discount Program:
10% discount for any 10-lesson package
(Can be hour lessons, half-hour lessons, or group lessons with Thomas or Shana
Pre-purchase 10 and get a 10% discount. This is like buying 9 and getting the 10th free.)
