FEEDBACK: Letter from Karen, new owner of Serrano - May 5, 2004
Hi, Thomas and Shana:
Haven't chatted with you in awhile. Hope all is well there. I'm sure your business is doing well and you are very busy, as usual!
Serrano and I are in love! I can't begin to explain how I feel about this horse-- and he acts as though the feeling is mutual! He seems so happy to do whatever we work on-- be it dressage movements, trailriding, cavalettis, just grooming or standing around. I believe I am truly blessed to have stumbled on him through you. Thanks so much! Everything we do he seems to gain more confidence and dependence on me, and I trust him totally.
We are doing some small schooling shows, just to get him acclimated-- and he is doing great. Everyone is totally impressed with how quickly he is calming down, and the repoire we seem to have.
At the end of the month, I have decided to enter the Southwest Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Club's Show--just for grins. It is a qualifying show, and I know one of the major trainers there--but I am just going for the experience. It will be a fun weekend and a good experience.
I very much miss seeing you both. You have helped me SO much, and I can never express my appreciation for introducing me to Serrano. I feel it has been a major stepping stone in my life.
Please keep in touch.
