Catalina 1993 Lipizzan mare - Bred by White Horse Vale Lipizzans Owned by Lisa Hettman of Longrein Lipizzans Sire: 442 Maestoso II Primavera   Dam: Catrina Full sister to Maestoso II Catrina and Cascadia Photos by Sara Stafford unless indicated otherwise. Catalina is the full-sister to two other Lipizzans well-known in the Ritter Dressage program. Catalina was bred by White Horse Vale and produced many excellent Lipizzan foals for WHV before being sold to Lisa Hettman as a foundation broodmare for her Lipizzan breeding program. In 2007, Catalina produced a filly by Favory Antiqua and she is currently in foal to Favory Antiqua for a 2008 foal. After weaning her foal this year, Lisa (who is also our assistant trainer) will bring Catalina back into work and she will join the duties as a lesson horse alongside her full sister, Cascadia, and her many other relatives.
